Long Time, No See
2014's reunioneers did not forget classmates who were unable to join our festivities. For instance, we had an update on Bill Broder beyond his '49 Yearbook photo and his publisher's profile featured in The ReNEWed Brook.

And from various recent sources, we gained at least a color-photographic sense of how several of our ranks (sadly now deceased) had evolved after June 11,1949; most '49ers hadn't seen them since. So, after Friday night's dinner, black-and-white photos of these 'lost' classmates were arrayed on a poster by Barbara Townsend; reunioneers then were invited to guess which adolescents had grown into which later selves. Whether or not life turned out for them as they thought it might, it's not too much to say that their later expressions suggest a certain pluck, dignity, and resilience.
